There was general consensus that the Board had highlighted legitimate concerns and more work should be done on this topic. To that end, there was a suggestion to hold a meeting with the Board, GAC, and Council to identify paths forward. The attached letter proposes this next step to the Board. Sub Pro IRT - Sub Track for IDNs

Hi Susan, Sorry to bother you on vacation but we discussed the approach to the Sub Pro IRT IDN Sub Track today in the full IRT meeting. I am still covering the ASP Sub Track and in addition, will be gone most of August in the African bush. I had previously asked in the Sub Pro IRT chat whether you could cover the IDN Sub-Track a Council Liaison. Their first meeting is August 8 just before the the full Sub Pro IRT meeting on that same day. In addition, I think I know less about IDNs and Root Zone Label Generation Rules than you do. Has the RSP SubTrack finished its work? Would you be able to cover the IDN Sub Track as Council Co-Liaison? (Copying Greg DiBiase so please reply all.)
