Dear Councillors, Below is the draft agenda for the Council call on the 11th December 2008. Under point 4 you will see that the Council will be asked to decide on the candidates to our various open positions as observers/committee members/working group members. All candidates we have are listed. Some of the names are new, so I am also attaching their bios for your consideration. Should you wish to add anything to the agenda, please let me know as soon as possible. The resolution shall reflect the Council decision from Cairo to insert the line "expect for extraordinary circumstances" under the section "Limitations" in the final recommendations http://www.ccnso.icann.org/workinggroups/ccnso-final-report-regions-wg-2409… ("4. Limitations. From the date that an application under these provisions has been approved by Council, no further applications from that ccTLD will be considered for a minimum period of 5 years. Items for ccNSO meetings Agenda - your input sought!

Dear all, Below is a list of items which are planned for the ccNSO meeting in Mexico City. The members meeting will take place on the 3rd and 4th March. Please, let me know if you would like to contribute to any of the sessions, or if you have any suggestions for other items. Please, note that we are planning to have a "ccTLD Update" session where volunteers are needed. I need your input by 12th December - after that, we can not guarantee that we can take onboard further suggestions. Currently Demi Getschko holds that seat. The ccNSO Council is therefore launching a nomination process to fill this seat for the next term. You can nominate and second a candidate until the 8th December 2008 at 00.00 UTC. In the event two or more candidates are nominated for seat number 12, an election will be held.
