ccNSO members dinner Seoul

Dear all, There will be another ccNSO members dinner in Seoul, taking place on Thursday, 28 October at 19.00. We have 100 tickets for this event, which will be distributed on a first-come-first served basis. Should you wish to attend, please let me know per email as soon as possible, but by Tuesday, 20th October at the latest. Please, also indicate whether you are a vegetarian or have any other special food requirements. The restaurant, "Top Cloud" www.topcloud.co.kr, is in a walking distance (about 12 minutes) from the meeting hotel and it is apparently famous for its view and great food. It is located on the 33rd floor of a well-known city tower. We are leaving the Lotte Hotel at 18.30. Updated ccNSO Agenda & Questions to ICANN Board members

Dear all, An updated version of the ccNSO Seoul agenda is now available at http://ccnso.icann.org/workinggroups/agenda-seoul-oct09-en.pdf Please, note that during the session with ICANN Board members and CEO on Tuesday morning there will be an opportunity to ask questions on the Affirmation of Commitments. The Council has created a special Committee which will prepare questions in order to give the session a structure. If you should have any specific questions which you would like the Committee to ask on your behalf, please, let me know by email. You will also notice that in this updated Agenda the ccNSO Working Group update session has been replaced by a session called ³ccNSO Working Group & Accomplishment Panel". The Working Group Chairs have been asked to send out a written summary of their work to the email lists prior to the meeting and will then be available for your questions at a panel session. Other accomplishments done between the meetings, such as the DNSSEC survey, will also be dealt with in the same way. Only in case a Working Group needs direct feedback from the membership (such as the SOP Working Group, or Incidence Response Plan Working Group), a special slot has been allocated. Dear Councillors, The Council needs to appoint five members to the Joint ccNSO/GNSO IDN Working Group. Following people have volunteered: Fahd Batayneh, .jo AP Chamara Disanayake, lk AP Erick Iriarte Ahon, LACTLD (observer) LAC Andrei Kolesnikov, .ru EU Han Chuan Lee, .sg AP Yeo Yee Ling, .my AP Doron Shikmoni, .il AP Jian Zhang, .cn AP The Charter (http://ccnso.icann.org/workinggroups/jiwg-charter.pdf) doesn't define what the regional balance should look like. However, as there is a clear overrepresentation in volunteers from the AP region, the Council needs to decide on who of the volunteers can become full members of the working group. Please, let me have your thoughts on this preferably by this Friday, 16th October. Thanks, Gabi
