Breakfast with Council Cancelled

Dear all, The traditional breakfast with the ICANN Board on Wednesday morning has been cancelled – see below. This means that the only opportunity to informally talk to members of the Board will be at their cocktail reception tomorrow at 19.00 – which is conflicting with our ccNSO members dinner. If you prefer to attend the cocktail, please, let me know, as I will then distribute your dinner tickets to people on the dinner waiting list. Another opportunity to interact more formally with the ICANN Board is, as usual, on Tuesday morning, when board members will join our ccNSO members meeting. Questions Area for Board and Public Forum

Dear all, As you know, the ccTLD community was asked to define questions which they would like to ask the board during our joint meeting on Tuesday (10.00 – 10.45 – see http://www.ccnso.icann.org/meetings/singapore/agenda.htm) The ccNSO Council has now defined three question areas: Human Rights IANA Contract ICANN Budget You are welcome to ask questions within this area during the update session. If there is time left, you are also invited to ask any other questions you might have. The ccNSO was also asked to define an area of interest for discussions at the public forum on Thursday and we have put forward the ICANN Budget as our main issue. Kind regards, Gabi

Singapore ccNSO dinner

Dear all, As you may know registration for the ccNSO dinner ( Tuesday 21 June 2011) has closed. Unfortunately not all requests good be honoured again due to the interest from everybody and the limited space available ( only 130 seats). Those of you who could not get a ticket are put on a waiting list. As Gabi indicated in her email seats at the dinner were granted on a first-come-first-served basis. Experience has shown that not all who you who have received a ticket turn-up at the ccNSO dinner and “forget” to inform Gabi. As a result colleagues who are on the waiting list will not be able to attend the dinner although there will be seats available. At the same time - although all seats are not taken - the sponsors will have to cover the full bill . We therefore urge those of you who have a ticket but will not make it to the dinner to inform Gabi as soon as you know, so someone else can attend! Thank you and kind regards, Bart
