Dear All, This is a kind reminder to please vote in the ongoing ccNSO Board Seat 11 election. The election will close next week, on Tuesday, 29 November 2022 (23:59 UTC). STATUS UPDATE. To date, 77 Emissaries have cast their votes. There are currently 173 ccTLD Managers - corresponding to 173 Territories – who are members of the ccNSO. NEXT STEPS. Voting results will be published on Wednesday, 30 November 2022 (latest by 23:59 UTC). Once Council adopted the Nomination Report, the Nomination Process will close and the Empowered Community Administration (ECA) and ICANN's Secretary will be notified of the results of the Nomination Process accordingly. Your input is valuable information for the ccNSO DNS Abuse Standing Committee (DASC) and helps to understand the ccTLD landscape with respect to handling the various aspects of DNS Abuse. The survey results will guide future work with respect to dealing with DNS Abuse, providing useful input to ccTLDs globally. After analysis of the results by the DASC, the results will be published on the ccNSO website and presented to the community in Cancun, Mexico, during ICANN76. With respect to the session itself I want to make a few observations to provide more context: - This session was intended to solicit different perspectives, from Councillors and community members, on how they look at the effectiveness and efficiency of ccNSO's policy work and how it could be improved. - The past Council workshop was the first time we could have such a discussion looking at a concluded ccPDP. - I trust we will continue this matter and further analysis will be undertaken. - As stated it was NOT intended as an evaluation of the process of the development of the retirement policy, which is first and foremost a matter of the working group developing the policy.
