Schedule Participation Guide FAQ Zoom Backgrounds Registration Information Sharing NEW: Pilot Holistic Review Draft Terms of Reference Briefings Available at ICANN75 The Public Comment proceeding on the Pilot Holistic Review Draft Terms of Reference opened on 30 August 2022 and will remain open until 20 October 2022. The ICANN org Reviews Support and Accountability team is available for meetings with interested community groups, to provide a 15-minute briefing on the Pilot Holistic Review Draft Terms of Reference Public Comment proceeding. Please contact rsa-coordinators(a)icann.org to schedule a briefing with your community group. Please include requested dates/times for your briefing. NEW: Universal Acceptance Roadmap for Domain Name Registry and Registrar Systems The Universal Acceptance (UA) Roadmap for Domain Name Registry and Registrar Systems proposes how to test these systems for UA readiness based on the Universal Acceptance Readiness Framework. A registry and registrar system were tested, and the results are reported in appendices. The study is published for review and feedback by the relevant technical community. Read more. NEW: ICANN Request for Proposal: Nominating Committee Recruiting Services Today, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) organization (org) issued a request for proposal (RFP) to identify and select provider(s) of recruiting and consulting services to help and support the Nominating Committee (NomCom) in the recruitment of qualified candidates to fill key leadership positions. NEW: ICANN’s 2022 Nominating Committee Publishes Summary Report The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) 2022 Nominating Committee (NomCom) has published its summary report, which presents the NomCom's progress since convening at the conclusion of the ICANN72 Annual General Meeting (AGM). The report outlines the criteria that the NomCom used when searching for potential candidates and recaps the committee's outreach activities and preselection process. It also provides a list of the final selections and a message from the 2022 NomCom Chair. Read more. REMINDER: Share Your Feedback on the Registration Data Policy Implementation Plan ICANN Org opened a Public Comment proceeding on a proposed Registration Data Policy Implementation Plan. This plan is the result of three years of work and collaboration including ICANN Org's Policy Implementation Project Team (IPT) and the Community's Implementation Review Team (IRT). The implementation plan includes a draft policy and proposed updates to 20 existing consensus policies and procedures impacted by the Community's recommendations concerning generic top-level domain (gTLD) registration data. The opening of this Public Comment is a tremendous achievement and a true testament to the multistakeholder model at work. Read more. REMINDER: ICANN Request for Proposal (RFP): PTI SOC2 & SOC3 Audits ICANN organization is soliciting proposals to identify a provider to conduct service organization control audits. These audits represent an important component of the accountability ICANN has to Internet stakeholders for the proper performance of the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority ("IANA") functions. The audits are mandated by the various contracts between ICANN and the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), the Regional Internet Registries (RIR) and Public Technical Identifiers (PTI). Indications of interest should be emailed to PTI.SOC2.SOC3.Audits-RFP(a)icann.org. Proposals should be electronically submitted using ICANN's sourcing tool by 23:59 UTC on 20 September 2022. REMINDER: NextGen@ICANN Program Selection Committee Nominations The NextGen@ICANN Program is seeking nominations to fill 3-5 slots for selection committee members. Each SO/AC is asked to nominate candidates for these positions. Individual self-nominations will not be considered. Interested community groups should select their respective NextGen@ICANN volunteers by Friday, 16 September 2022. Interested community groups should select their respective volunteers and notify Deborah Escalera, deborah.escalera(a)icann.org. Each selection committee member will serve for a period of 2 years beginning with ICANN76. For program details please visit our page. REMINDER: Calling for NextGen@ICANN Applications for ICANN76 ICANN is calling for applications for the NextGen@ICANN program. ICANN wants to hear from university students living and studying in the Latin America and Caribbean region who are interested in the future of the Internet and in participating in the ICANN76 Community Forum Meeting. ICANN76 is scheduled to be held in Cancún, Mexico from 11–16 March 2023. If ICANN76 is held virtually, the NextGen@ICANN program will also be held virtually.
