REMINDER: Implementation Operations Team Interactive Update on the "Enhancing ICANN’s Multistakeholder Model" Project In 2019, the ICANN Board initiated a project aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of ICANN's multistakeholder model – one of the strategic objectives outlined in ICANN's Strategic Plan for Fiscal Years (FY) 2021-2025. This effort is critical to ensuring that the multistakeholder model evolves and meets the changing needs of the ICANN community. The Implementation Operations team is offering an up to 30 minute interactive update on this project, more specifically on the evaluation methodology, which is used to assess the current projects/initiatives that are supporting the multistakeholder model. Information Sharing LAST CALL: Request for Appointment of Members and Liaisons to the CSC As of 30 September 2022, several members and liaisons of the Customer Standing Committee (CSC) will complete their term. While members are required, liaison appointments are optional (albeit strongly encouraged). To ensure that the appointment process is completed in time for the start of the next CSC term, ICANN org will ask to be notified of your appointments by Monday, 1 August 2022. This webinar will explain the planning process, the proposed IANA operational priorities for FY24, key assumptions, and timelines. The second component includes the PTI budget plus additional programs and costs that the ICANN organization incurs while overseeing and enabling the IANA functions. Community questions and comments will be welcome. In addition to the webinars, the community has further opportunity to participate in this planning process. Input received during the webinars and other outreach will inform draft plans that will be submitted for Public Comment in September. The finalized operating plans and budgets will be considered for formal adoption in late 2022.

Dear All, The ccNSO Meetings Programme Committee (MPC) seeks presenters for the next edition of the ccTLD News session, held during the ICANN75 Annual General Meeting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The ccTLD News Session is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, 21 September 2022 (08:30-09:30 UTC) and will accommodate both in-person and virtual participation. ICANN75 introduces an important innovation for selected ccNSO sessions, including the ccTLD News Session: for the very first time simultaneous interpretation will be available and participants are able to select the language they will speak or listen to in Zoom. REMINDER: Implementation Operations Team Interactive Update on the "Enhancing ICANN’s Multistakeholder Model" Project In 2019, the ICANN Board initiated a project aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of ICANN's multistakeholder model – one of the strategic objectives outlined in ICANN's Strategic Plan for Fiscal Years (FY) 2021-2025. This effort is critical to ensuring that the multistakeholder model evolves and meets the changing needs of the ICANN community. The Implementation Operations team is offering an up to 30 minute interactive update on this project, more specifically on the evaluation methodology, which is used to assess the current projects/initiatives that are supporting the multistakeholder model. LAST CALL: Nomination Period Opens for Dr. Tarek Kamel Award for Capacity Building ICANN opened a one-month nomination period for the Dr. Tarek Kamel Award for Capacity Building. While members are required, liaison appointments are optional (albeit strongly encouraged). To ensure that the appointment process is completed in time for the start of the next CSC term, ICANN org will ask to be notified of your appointments by Monday, 1 August 2022. Nominations must be submitted by no later than Monday, 1 August 2022. The community-nominated mentor will be responsible for overseeing the mentor process. Communities may choose to appoint program alumni and are encouraged to appoint active community members who have an interest in mentoring students. Guidelines for the program can be found here.
