Dear all, As you may know the ccNSO Council will conduct a work shop during the Costa Rica ICANN meeting on Sunday 11 March 2012 from 10 am until noon at the Tienda room. One of the topics of the work shop is to review and update the ccNSO overall work plan. As the work plan also relates to the working groups you are chairing, you are kindly invited to participate in this part. Chairs of other working groups are also council members so they participate anyway. The other main topic of the workshop is on roles and responsibilities of councillors. Could you be so kind to indicate whether you will attend the workshop? Early next week I will send the attendants of the workshop documentation in preparation of the workshop. Kind regards, Bart

ccTLD Adress Book: Request for contact details

Dear all, We are now introducing the ccTLD Adress Book as a new feature for the ccTLD Community Wiki space. A list of ccTLD contacts was requested by several community members when we were planning the update of the ccNSO website. The purpose is to have a non-public location where you can go to find contact information for your peers and make it easier for everyone to exchange information. The contact information in the address book is listed in in alphabetical order based on the country code, regional organisation, etc, with one slot for every person. This means that everyone who would like to be listed need to contact me individually. Dear ccNSO Members, On behalf of our Costa Rican hosts and our sponsors, I am pleased to invite you to our ccNSO dinner in San José. The dinner will take place on Tuesday, 13 March in “El Rodeo” http://www.elrodeohotel.com/rest_rodeo.html. The restaurant is a 5 minute bus ride away from the meeting venue. Buses will pick you up at the meeting venue at 19.00. If you wish to attend this dinner, please let me know by Friday, 2 March at the latest. Please also indicate if you have any special food requirements! ccNSO Travel Funding Open for Prague Applications

Dear all, The ccNSO travel funding committee is now accepting applications to the ICANN meeting in Prague, Czech Republic 24 - 29 June 2012. Funding is made available for those who actively participate in the work of the ccNSO and make a special contribution to its projects and meetings. However, you do not need to be a ccNSO member to receive funding! The funding covers an economy class ticket to the travel destination, the hotel costs for the time of the meeting and a per diem. A document with background information and explanations on how the funding shall be distributed is available at: http://ccnso.icann.org/about/ccnso-travel-funding-09nov10-en.pdf If you think you are eligible to receive funding for the Prague meeting, please send an email to ccnso-travelfunding(a)icann.org by 12.00 noon UTC on 2 March 2012, at the latest. The email must contain the name and contact details of the applicant as well as a short description of how you think you can contribute to the work of the ccNSO. The application was submitted by Flavio Cardoso Neves, representing the Ministry of Infrastructure Information and Technology Division, the ccTLD's sponsoring organization.
