Reminder: Call for Presentations Buenos Aires Meeting

Dear all, This is just a reminder that tomorrow, Thursday, 30 April is the last day to submit your suggestions for presentations during the ccNSO meeting in Buenos Aires. In particular, we are looking for presentations suitable for our traditional ccTLD News session, but we are also seeking contributions to a session on "the ccTLD Market Landscape: trends, changes, challenges". If you think you can contribute with a presentation please, fill in this form: Exact title of presentation: Name of presenter: Short summary of presentation (2-3 sentences): Estimated time needed: This information is crucial for our Programme Working Group, in order to be able to plan the sessions. The summary will also be published online prior to the meeting, so that all participants can read and know what to expect. Depending on the amount of proposals, the Programme Working Group can¹t always guarantee a slot to all volunteers, but will have to make a selection. WEBINAR: Further Discussion on the CWG-Stewardship 2nd Draft Proposal for Public Comment The Cross Community Working Group to Develop an IANA Stewardship Transition Proposal for Naming Related Functions (CWG-Stewardship) released its 2nd draft proposal for public comment on 22 April (https://www.icann.org/public-comments/cwg-stewardship-draft-proposal-2015-0 4-22-en). Following the opening of the public comment proceeding, the CWG-Stewardship Chairs hosted two briefing webinars on 24 April. The briefing webinars on 24 April focused on the CWG-Stewardship work process, development of the 2nd draft proposal, and provided an overview of the contents and proposed structural model. The CWG-Stewardship Chairs will now host a follow-up series of webinars to brief interested community members on the content of the 2nd draft proposal, and to respond to questions that have surfaced since the briefings on 24 April. These two webinars may help further inform community submissions in time for the close of the public comment period on 20 May. The webinars will take place on: * 6 May from 13:00 14:30 UTC * 7 May from 06:00 07:30 UTC

Dear all, Prior to the last ccNSO Council call on 23 April 2015 Jordan Carter indicated he needed to step down as the ccNSO appointed co-chair. At its meeting on 23 April, the ccNSO appointed Young Eum Lee (.kr) a ccNSO Councillor, and long standing member of the CWG IG, as the ccNSO Appointed co-chair to replace Jordan.
