Proposal for Hebrew Script Root Zone Label Generation Rules

Hello all, The Hebrew community has formed the Hebrew Script Generation Panel (GP), which in turn has developed a Proposal for Hebrew Script Root Zone Label Generation Rules (Proposal<https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/proposal-hebrew-lgr-20feb19-en.…> and Supporting Document<https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/proposal-hebrew-lgr-20feb19-en.…>). As per the LGRprocedure<https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/lgr-procedure-20mar13-en.pdf>, this proposal is being posted for public comment to allow those who have not participated in the Hebrew Script GP to make their views known to the GP. Introduction Guideline ccNSO Approval Action Process Next week you will receive the approval action guideline in your inbox. More or less same terminology used, to make it consistent with the Rejection Action Guideline. Ready to be sent to council, then to community for public comments. GRC will review the comments, and the council will then be asked to approve the final version of the guideline. 1. PDP Part 1 Retirement and updated overall schedule PDP 3 7.1 Update WG taken from the meeting. * Adopt the Updated schedule Updated timeline was shared with council mailing list yesterday 1. For the .tc membership application: We received info that the ccTLD Manager in the IANA DB is no longer involved with the ccTLD Manager. 3 options: * Approve the application * Conditional approval * IANA should ensure that the DB is accurate. Approval of membership to be put on hold until the issue has been clarified. Katrina: proposal to defer this discussion. Byron: our rules include a check with IANA. Ambiguity in feedback from IANA, and doubts regarding the correctness of the data. Proposal to defer. Katrina proposes to ask IANA to reach out again to ccTLD manager. Action item for next meeting. Secretariat takes this on to prepare this for the next meeting. Abibu his term ends at the end of this meeting. 1. Dear All. This is a reminder that per ccNSO council decision, the ccNSO launched a call for volunteers for members of the ccNSO Internet Governance Liaison Committee (IGLC). Opening date of this call for volunteers is Monday, 11 March 2019 (00:01 UTC). The call for volunteers will close on Monday, 25 March 2019 (23:59 UTC). If you are interested in applying for this position, kindly send an e-mail to joke.braeken(a)icann.org<mailto:joke.braeken@icann.org>. Further instructions are included under the heading "How to apply?". Who can join the IGLC? Membership of the Committee is open to all ccTLD managers (whether members of the ccNSO or not) The membership will be listed on https://ccnso.icann.org/en/about/iglc [ccnso.icann.org]<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__ccnso.icann.org_en_abo…> . There is no term-end. The IGLC shall have a minimum of five members and a maximum as determined by the ccNSO council. The Chair of the ccNSO, or a person designated by the Chair of the ccNSO, is appointed ex-officio. How to Apply?
