It identifies the communications assets that are available and provides guidelines on usage. It also addresses areas in which the ICANN Communications Team can support the ICANN community. TOMORROW: Webinar Invitation: CCWG Auction Proceeds Final Report From: David Olive, Senior Vice President, Policy Development Support The co-chairs of the Cross-Community Working Group (CCWG) on New gTLD Auction Proceeds will be hosting a 60-minute informational webinar for its chartering organizations about its Final Report on Tuesday, 7 July 2020 at 12:00 UTC. All Supporting Organizations and Advisory Committees are chartering organizations of the CCWG. The primary purpose of this webinar is to provide information to the chartering organizations about CCWG recommendations and Final Report, as well as answer questions that they may have as they consider CCWG outputs. However, anyone who is interested in this topic is welcome to attend, even if they are not affiliated with the chartering organizations. Additional information can be found here. Upon delivering the Final Report on 29 May, the CCWG Co-Chairs asked the Chartering Organizations to respond with the results of deliberations within 60 days. If this is not feasible, the Co-Chairs asked the Chartering Organizations to let them know when they expect to be able to provide a response. We look forward to your participation in the webinar. Dear All, This is a friendly reminder Upcoming Monday we will share the details for attending the webinar Kind regards, Bart Save the date! The country code Name Supporting Organisation (ccNSO) will host 2 editions of a webinar, targeted at those who want to learn more about the upcoming work regarding policy recommendations for the (de)selection of IDN ccTLD strings. You will also be informed on how to join the ccPDP4 Working Group, the topics that will be addressed by this group, and its working methods. There are two options to participate: Wednesday, 8 July 2020 at 22:00 UTC Thursday, 9 July 2020 at 11:00 UTC Each webinar will be scheduled for 60 minutes. Details on how to participate will become available soon. A recording will be made available here. Continue to check the announcement section on the ccNSO Home Page [ccnso.icann.org] for further updates. As a next step, by mid-July 2020, the ccNSO Secretariat will send out a call for volunteers and will invite stakeholders as listed in the group’s charter, to join the Working Group. About ccPDP4 This fourth-ever ccNSO Policy Development Process aims to develop policy recommendations for the ICANN Board. In time, the results of this ccPDP will replace the IDN ccTLD Fast Track Process, which currently guides the selection process of IDN ccTLD strings. During its meeting on 21 May, the ccNSO Council adopted the Issue Report on Internationalized Domain Name (IDN) country code top-level domain strings. With the adoption of this report, the fourth policy development process (ccPDP) for the ccNSO is initiated. ICANN Board seat 12: call for nominations closed

Dear All, On Tuesday, 30 June 2020 (23:59 UTC), the recent call for nominations for the position of ICANN Board seat 12 was closed. After closure of the nomination period, the Nomination Process Manager will ask the candidates that are nominated and seconded whether they accept their nomination. The deadline for acceptance of the nominations is Wednesday, 8 July 2020 (23:59 UTC). Following this deadline, the list of candidates will be published on the ccNSO website. The candidates will be invited to share their written candidate statements, which will be published on the ccNSO website. An election will be held - starting in November 2020, after completion of the due diligence verifications - according to the timeline previously agreed upon by the ccNSO Council. The ccNSO Council and ccNSO members have agreed that the ccNSO members shall propose and elect candidates for the two ICANN Board seats allocated to the ccNSO, and that the winner of said election - i.e. the candidate that receives the majority of the votes cast - shall in turn be nominated to the ICANN Board seat by a majority vote of the ccNSO Council. A Q&A session will be held at the October 2020 ccNSO Members Meeting at ICANN69 in October 2020. This Q&A session will provide the ccNSO members and broader ccTLD community an opportunity to interact with the candidates.
