The Nairobi, Kenya-based IMRS cluster improves the Internet's Domain Name System (DNS) infrastructure on the continent, which is crucial to stimulating Internet access and strengthening Internet stability for its users. Call For Presenters: ICANN76 ccTLD News Session

Dear All, The ccNSO Meetings Programme Committee (MPC) seeks presenters for the next edition of the ccTLD News session, held during the ICANN76 Community Forum in Cancun, Mexico. Whether you are a seasoned presenter, or this be your first time, the MPC encourages you to submit your proposal, spread the word among your peers from the ccTLD community, and participate. ccTLDs globally want to hear from you! The ccTLD News Session is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, 15 March 2022 (UTC -5) and will accommodate both in-person and virtual participation. For selected ccNSO sessions during ICANN76, including the ccTLD News Sessions, simultaneous interpretation will be available, and participants are able to select the language they will speak or listen to in Zoom. Available languages are French, Spanish or English. The ccNSO Meeting Programme Committee looks forward to your participation! I wish to present: How can I apply for a speaking position? ccNSO DNS abuse survey now closed

Dear All, I am forwarding you an email on behalf of the DASC leadership team. The ccNSO DNS Abuse Standing Committee (DASC<https://ccnso.icann.org/en/workinggroups/dasc.htm>) recently launched a survey to understand the ccTLD landscape with respect to handling the various aspects of DNS Abuse. We have had a great response during the first round<https://ccnso.icann.org/en/announcements/announcement-20sep22-en.htm>, with approximately fifty ccTLDs providing their input. During the second round<https://ccnso.icann.org/en/announcements/announcement-14nov22-en.htm>, twentyfive additional responses were received. The survey is now closed. On behalf of the DASC, thank you to all who responded! We appreciate your answers to this survey. This will enable us to plan, so we can serve the ccTLD community better. Your input is valuable, and will guide future work with respect to dealing with DNS Abuse. After an initial analysis of the survey results, the DASC leadership intends to carefully evaluate how to present the results to the ccTLD and broader community. Rest assured that all your responses will be treated with discretion. ***REMINDER*** Dear all, The ccNSO Policy Development Process Review Mechanism Working Group (ccPDP3WG-RM) has recently completed its initial draft for a recommended policy for a mechanism to review specific decisions pertaining to the delegation, transfer, revocation, and retirement of country code top-level domains (ccTLDs). The objective of the policy is to offer ccTLD managers, and applicants for new ccTLDs, an independent review mechanism for a limited set of decisions, which are detailed in the Initial Report. To seek community input and comments a public comment period started on 29 November 2022 and will close on 24 January 2023 (see: https://www.icann.org/en/public-comment/proceeding/initial-report-on-the-cc…) .
