Dear all, Included the agenda and draft resolutions for todays meeting. There will be paper copies available for those of you present in Dublin First of all, Byron will not chair todays meeting, as he is not well. Katrina as vice-chair will chair the meeting. On behalf of the Council, I want to thank Dotty for her many years of dedicated commitment to the Council in specific and to ccNSO community in general. Guidelines Review Committee membership issues

Dear Councillors, As the chair of the Guidelines Review Committee (GRC) I would like to inform the ccNSO Council that during our face-to-face meeting here in Dublin the Committee decided to dismiss Nelson Juarez, .ni. We assume that due to the change of circumstances he apparently is not able to contribute to the work of the GRC. May I ask the staff to delete his name on the GRC website. Thank you! Renewed election timeline proposal

Dear Councillors, Two members of the LAC region have been nominated + seconded so far, and it therefore looks like there will be an election in this region as well (both candidate need to formally approve their nomination first). As I would like to avoid to have two separate elections (there will be elections in the EU region as well) and because the nomination period for the LAC region was extended until the 30 October, which clash with the originally proposed + approved election timeline, I would like to propose an updated timeline: Thursday, 5 November 00.01 UTC Thursday, 19 November 23.59 UTC Nomination + election report to be submitted at the latest by 1 December (due to holidays the previous week, but will try to be as fast as possible) If run-off elections: 1 8 December Nomination + election report to be submitted at the latest by 11 December. I would be grateful if you could agree on this renewed timeline as soon as possible. In case I have not heard any objections by 20th October, understand you approve this renewed timeline.
