IDN ccPDP Report Published for public comments

Dear all, The ccNSO IDN PDP Working Group 1 has now published their IDN ccPDP report with draft policy recommendations for the selection of IDN ccTLDs associated with the territories listed in the ISO 3166-1 (IDN ccTLDs) within the framework of the IDN country code Policy Development Process. GNSO Liaison update

1. Recommendation 4 of the Internationalised Registration Data WG Final Report stated to persuade ccTLD registries and registrars to adopt standards on domain names (A-label, U-label), nameserver names, telephone, email, registration status and date/time. The report is being submitted to the Board for comments. The progress and updates as a result of this report will be monitored to see if ccNSO needs to follow up. 2. The new gNSO Chair will be elected before the Toronto meeting in Oct 2012. Regards Han Chuan
