Dear all, The latest ICANN Board resolutions are available at http://icann.org/en/minutes/resolutions-18mar11-en.htm They include following decisions: - An extraordinary ICANN Board meeting on the new gTLD implementation programme will be held on Monday 20 June in Singapore. - All 27 of the recommendations made by the Accountability and Transparency Review Team were endorsed by the Board. - .XXX was approved as a new top-level domain by the board. Dear all, The Strategic and Operational Planning Working Group is presently preparing its comments on the 2012 Operational Plan Framework. Our time to do so is limited. The public comments period on the framework ends on 4 April. In order for the ccTLD community to be able to use the comments of the SOP WG in their own comments submitted to ICANN, the SOP will publish its comments at least a week before that, so on 28 March. If you have comments that you would like us to submit, or issues you would like to draw our attention to, please let us know. On way to the Peruvian Congress - See you my friends.

Hi. Some weeks ago the Aprista Party (http://www.apra.pe) invited me to be part of the list of candidates to the Peruvian Congress by Lima (my region). I accepted because my family are members of Aprista Party (i was not involved directly in politics in the past 12 years after the students movements against Fujimori). So i started a carrier to the Congress with one proposal: #internetparatodos (in english: internet for all). I worked with my heart and put all my dreams in the past three years like first general manager of LACTLD, the results three years after the decision of the General Assembly of LACTLD to contracted me you can see. :) Now LACTLD is an active participant in the regional and global process about Domain Names and Internet Governance. All the advance of LACTLD was created by the community, i'm only help in the process, and was an honor that job. But the campaign advance, and the far away probabilities are not so far away. This will be the first time that i will take some "months" out ot the ICANN world in 12 years. Thanks to everybody all, really thanks to all my colleagues and friends from CENTR (Specially Peter and Wim) , APTLD (specially Don Hollander y Jian), AfTLD (specially Eric), and LACTLD (all the members and my team), and from ICANN Staff in ccNSO (Gaby, Bart, Kristina), the ICANN Staff Liasons (specially Rodrigo y Shernon). And to everybody thanks for your frienship and for the messages, in someway my professional life in the past years, and my personal life, are connected to the ccTLDs (i started like legal advisor in .pe and now well now.. i going back to the politics).
