Dear all, Demi was kind enough to provide some basic data around the Brazil meeting Agenda item 3.1) Kind regards, Bart === We had already ~420 "expressions of interest" (the physical limit of the venue would be ~800) gender- 31% female, 69% male contrbutions- 63% are declaring that would sent content contributions, 27% won't send region- Latin America & Caribbean: 37% Europe: 19% North America: 18% Asia: 12% Africa: 11% Oceania: 3% and some (few, 5) content contributions...

To date Keith Davidson and Jordan Carter are ccNSO members on this group. To ensure all calls are attended by a ccNSO representative the ccNSO Council seeks an additional volunteer for the ccWG "Internet Governance". If the Ad-Hoc Study Group is established ( see agenda item 3.4) this volunteer ail become member of this group as well. 3.4 Formation Study Group Background At its meeting in Buenos Aires (20 November 2013), the ccNSO Council discussed the need to keep track of the developments in the various Internet Governance tracks such as the IStar group, 1Net, the Brazil conference on Internet Governance and ICANN’s Strategy Panels. Volunteers related to ccTLDs and ccTLD regional Organizations offered to keep track of the developments, and inform the ccNSO on a regular basis. In order to structure the efforts of these volunteers and keep the ccNSO membership and the broader ccTLD community abreast of the developments it is suggested to create an Ad-Hoc Group on “Internet Governance”, which will initially include the volunteers already active. The volunteers have been informed and no disagreement been noted. A draft Statement of Purpose for the group has been circulated on the ccNSO Council email list. Draft Resolution The ccNSO Council: 1. Adopts the proposed statement on purpose and scope of activities “Internet Governance” study group. 2. Appoints its chair Byron Holland ( .ca) as the chair of the group, and request the chair to ask the volunteers, who already keep track of the developments to participate as volunteer of this group. 3. Requests the secretariat to set-up a webpage on the ccNSO web-site with purpose to disseminate relevant information to the ccNSO membership and ccTLD community at-large 4) ccNSO Sponsored Lunches Background Since the beginning of the ccNSO, the ccTLD Community has been invited to sponsored lunches during the two ccNSO meeting days. When possible, the Tech Day participants have also received sponsored boxed lunches. Arranging these lunches has been an extra service in order to create a good and uniting atmosphere among the community. Dear all, Included you'll find the draft statement of purpose for a ad-hoc "study group" on Internet Governance matters. The main goal is to provide assistance to the ccTLD community members who are currently keeping track of what is going in the area of IG , and to provide a basis for a central repository to keep the broader ccTLD community abreast of the discussions around Internet Governance The structure is very lightweight, and in principle it should not have a impact on the current workload go the volunteers.
