ccNSO Travel Funding Application period open for London meeting

Dear all, The ccNSO travel funding committee is now accepting applications to the ICANN meeting in London, United Kingdom 22 26 June 2014. Funding is made available for those who actively participate in the work of the ccNSO and make a special contribution to its projects and meetings. However, you do not need to be a ccNSO member to receive funding! The funding covers an economy class ticket to the travel destination, the hotel costs for the time of the meeting and a per diem. A document with background information and explanations on how the funding shall be distributed is available at: http://ccnso.icann.org/about/travel-funding-12feb13-en.pdf. If you think you are eligible to receive funding for the London meeting, please fill in and submit the travel funding application form http://www.ccnso.icann.org/about/travel-funding <http://ccnso.icann.org/about/travel-funding> by 12.00 noon UTC on 7 March 2014, at the latest. Please, note the requirement for contributions to the work of the ccNSO. Typical contributions can be an active engagement in a ccNSO working group, a presentation or other engagements that strengthen the activities of the ccNSO. Dear fellow councilors, We have received an application for ccNSO membership from .bw, the ccTLD of Botswana. The application has been filed by Moakofi Kamanga, representing the BOTSWANA COMMUNICATIONS REGULATORY AUTHORITY, the cc's manager. As you can see from IANA's response below, there are no outstanding issues with .bw.
