Colegas, aquí está otro asunto que debería ser de interés para LACRALO, de manera especialmente viva dado que acabamos de votar por candidatos al NomCom. En mi opinión las propuestas de ampliación del NomCom van en sentido inverso al deseable, que sería el de una reducción del mismo y, a cambio, una mejora profunda en la calidad de la representación de las partes, y del funcionamiento y resultados del NomCom. En particular en lo que hace a la calidad de la representación es importante asegurar la amplitud de miras y la madurez. En contra del diseño original, la mayoría de las comunidades envía al NomCom a representantes que tienen demasiados intereses vivos, incluyendo su propia posible aspiración a ocupar un cargo designado por el NomCom. Es prudente que decidamos si queremos iniciar un debate en LACRALO para buscar una posición común, o declararlo fuera de alcance. Un motivo para declararlo fuera de alcance sería que estuviéramos procesando iniciativas más sustantivas, toda vez que ésta es de carácter procedimental y organizacional, y no una política referida al desarrollo del DNS, direcciones IP, y parámetros de protocolos. Gracias Alejandro, en varias oportunidades habíamos indicado que el procedimiento para realizar las observaciones es tomar el párrafo que desea observarse o modificarse, y redactarlo de la forma en que desa quede finalmente, y luego publicarlo en la wiki.
