Two Indigenous Ambassadors will be selected from underrepresented indigenous communities to attend ICANN61. Applicants must be members of unserved or underserved tribal or native communities and meet the ICANN Fellowship Program criteria<https://www.icann.org/fellowshipprogram>. La idea es esa que para el proximo año ya sea tema de estado la gobernanza internet . Hasta la fecha, hemos logrado que ya en Panama todos hablen del tema, LACIGF fue un punto de inflexion mediatico. Uno de los principales logros a sido sacar el tema de la comunidad academica y tecnica, llevarlos a los usuarios. En muy poco tiempo se han logrado las metas trazadas. Estimados miembros de la Comunidad, Después de más de 3 años que se presentó el Plan Estratégico LAC y la creación del Grupo de Trabajo (Steering Committee), se nos ha informado que se va a realizar una reestructuración al mismo a fin de involucrar a nuevos miembros de la comunidad para tener una participación activa y revisar el mencionado Plan. A tales efectos, el grupo de trabajo estará compuesto por: i) Consejo del Plan Estratégico LAC y ii) Comité de implementación. El primero (es decir, el Consejo del Plan Estratégico LAC) estará compuesto por 12 miembros de la comunidad LAC, estos miembros representarán las SOs y las ACs de la ICANN. Cada organización (GAC, LACRALO, gNSO, ccNSO y ASO) deberá elegir miembros para formar parte del consejo. Su rol será hacer la planificación, que incluye establecer los objetivos, proyectos e indicadores cada vez que se renueva la Estrategia. Además, el Consejo evaluará anualmente el progreso de la Estrategia LAC. El segundo (es decir, el Comité de Implementación), está compuesto por miembros de la comunidad y la convocatoria será abierta. Oportunamente GSE nos dará mayor alcance. En base a lo señalado, nos han solicitado dos (02) personas de LACRALO para pertenecer al Consejo del Plan Estratégico LAC. En ese sentido, los interesados en participar, por favor enviar por interno una breve expresión de interés hasta el día martes 24 de octubre hasta las 23 UTC a fin de poder evaluar y definir las candidaturas.
