Estimados amigos de LACRALO, Yo estuvo de viaje y no me fue posible atender a esta llamada de hoy por la mañana. Todavía creo que puedo compartir con ustedes mis puntos relativos a lo que Yo espero de un board member que nos represente: - tenga estatura para representar a todos (que tenga conocimiento general - gestión, finanzas etc aunque no necesita ser un especialista - y conocimiento de los asuntos de las demás constituintes para tener voz adentro del baord) - vivencia internacional, - conocimiento de ICANN, - participación en los RALOS y en At Large en general; - vivencia de boards de mismo tamaño y economía, - capacidad de comunicación con las personas en ICANN, en las diversas regiones. - Para mi es también relevante conocimiento de mas de una lengua para facilidad de comunicación con la comunidad at large. Cuantas más, mejor. - posiciones propias relacionadas a los usuarios y capacidad de defenderlas. - hoy en dia, en el Board sigue siendo relevante no tener conflicto de interés en relación a los nuevos gTLDs. Ya hay muchos que necesariamente son conflictantes, así que nuestro representante, por principio no debía serlo. Creo también que la posición debería ser rotativa, quiero decir que seria relevante tener candidatos diversos a cada elección para que las personas percebán que tienn oportunidad de disputar y ganar posiciones relevantes a cada termo.
